Box and Tray Liners
Paramount Packaging carry a large range of stock box or tray liners. These gusseted polythene bags are designed to suit and fit the most common sizes of corrugated cases and retail display trays for food and produce in the Irish market. If we do not have the size your require in stock we can quickly produce your size to order. All box liners are suitable for commercial deep freezing and remain effective up to minus 30 degrees Celsius. Because intended use may include freezing, high strength tear resistant materials are used to allow unpacking of still frozen produce. Typically for use in the meat and fish business, liners are blue tinted to ensure easy visibility in the unlikely event of tearing and contamination.
Box liners offer an effective moisture barrier between the food product being packed and absorbent corrugated cases. All liners are precluded from virgin FDA materials and are suitable for direct contact with food. Tray liners offer the same protection for uncooked or cooked food and allow repeated use of the same trays without the expensive and time consuming necessity to clean or sterilise the trays daily.
