Plain Poly Bags
Paramount Packaging supply both from stock and made to order a large range of general purpose plastic bags. Sizes can range from as small as 3" x 4" to as large as 60" x 150". Thicknesses from as low as 8 micron to 250 micron. Bags can be side weld, bottom weld or skirt weld depending on the manufacturing process or customers requirements. If we do not stock the size or thickness you require we can normally produce your bag to order in about 2-3 weeks. All stock bags are produced from virgin FDA approved raw materials , however where the customers end use allows we can also supply these bags produced from recycled materials. Polythene bags can be opaque pigmented in a wide range of colours, or tinted where colour coding is important but transparency is still required. Depending upon your product or point of sale polythene bags may be your primary packaging material or offer internal protection. Either way plain polythene bags are a very effective but inexpensive form of packaging. They offer protection against dirt, dust, moisture and a level of barrier protection to odours and gases. Polythene bags are commonly used in conjunction with corrugated cases or other boxes and trays. ( See box and Tray liners next ).
