While security pouches offer a safe and secure way of storing or shipping sensitive or valuable documents or items, tamper evident pouches offer the additional security feature, clearly indicating that someone has attempted to gain access to the bag. Special inks and adhesives are used to indicate interference. For example the letters VOID will appear once the seal has been damaged.

Tamper Evident Pouches
Tamper evident pouches are particularly useful for high value or security sensitive items, for example cash or bank notes, tickets or scratch cards, exam papers, duty free items etc. While plastic security pouches are strong and durable, and are designed to carry and protect the items they contain, they are obviously not indestructible. The additional tamper evident feature indicates the intention whether successful or not by somebody to penetrate the pack. Accordingly if the pack is intact you can be 100% certain that the parcel has not been interfered with. Equally so if the tamper feature is evident the contents should be checked, it indicates interference.

Tamper Evident Pouches
While the words VOID or VOID IF REMOVED are common indicators of tampering, for volume orders and to offer additional security , the tamper evident wording can be whatever you wish and can include dates or codes or numbers which are not easily preempted by a forger.
